한국 이미지 아카이브는 자원봉사자들의 참여로 운영되는 독립기관으로, 미국에서 다양한 경로를 통해 발굴되고 있는 한국과 관련된 역사적 사진 자료를 수집하고 보존하며 대중에게 제공하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 출범 이후 주로 1970년대 이전 한국의 모습을 담고 있는 2757장의 원본 사진들을 수집했으며, 앞으로도 더 많은 사진 자료를 찾기 위해 노력하고 있습니다.

Korean Image Archive is a volunteer-run institution that exists to collect, preserve, and provide access to historic Korean images discovered in the United States. Since our launch we’ve amassed a collection of 2757 original images, primarily focusing on those photographed pre-1970, and continue searching for more.
